Thank you for your interest in participating in our Lenten Parish Service Day.  At this time, all of our volunteer opportunities have been filled but we encourage you to visit the Outreach Services to learn of other ways you can perform acts of service this Lent.

We need volunteers of all ages to tackle many projects in the community and at Good Shepherd

GRACE – Volunteers will unload and sort donations and test electronics at GRACE Donation Station

Mid-Cities Care Corps – We’ll tackle home and yard maintenance projects for seniors.

5 On-Site Projects – Volunteers have an opportunity to participate in one of five service projects on-site at Good Shepherd:

  • For Catholic Charities Fort Worth –There are two projects: one group of volunteers will clean the CCFW Transportation vehicles at GSCC, while another will assemble bicycles and furniture used with CCFW’s Assessment Center & SOS programs.
  • Crafting –Help us craft Easter-themed decorations for homebound friends and residents of nursing homes and senior living centers.
  • Cleaning the Church – One group will vacuum all of the pews and clean woodwork in the church & Eucharistic chapel.
  • Mulching -- We need volunteers to help our facilities team move mulch around our campus.
