HOLY THURSDAY EVENING MASS OF THE LORD’S SUPPER
First Day of the Pascal Triduum

“Holy Mother Church throughout the world comes together this evening to begin the three days of the Christian Passover.  In the mystery of this Passover, we sign our homes and our hearts with the Blood of the Lamb.  Throughout this paschal night, we keep watch for the dawn of freedom that brings us to salvation.  The death, burial and the resurrection of the Lord are a memorial feast we keep throughout all generations.  We follow Jesus’ command to wash each other’s feet and so offer our lives in loving service.”     -Father Richard
