    BANNS OF ORDINATION TO THE ORDER OF THE DIACONATE The Most Reverend Michael F. Olson, STD, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth, announces that he intends to ordain Mr. Guillermo Muñoz Medina to the Sacred Order of Deacon on Friday, June 21, 2024, at St. Patrick Cathedral in Fort Worth, Texas. The faithful of the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth are asked to pray for this candidate. At the same time the faithful are obliged to reveal impediments to sacred orders, if they know of any, by contacting the Office of the Bishop at and 817-945-9311 or the parish pastor before ordination in accord with the norms cc. 1043 and 1051.2 of the Code of Canon Law. St. Lawrence, patron saint of deacons, intercede for these men and for an increase in vocations to the diaconate in our diocese.
