In our commitment to follow Christ’s commandment to love one another, the Good Shepherd Outreach Services ministry works to provide hope and dignity to those in need in our local community. Part of our mission is to help our parishioners live out God’s call to serve the poor, the homeless, victims of domestic violence, low-income families, seniors and the elderly, and other people in need through the Good Shepherd Christ Care program and partnerships with eight local service organizations.

Beautiful Mercy

Pope Francis always encourages us to open our hearts to our brothers and sisters who are suffering by answering God’s call to know and serve people in need in loving, compassionate ways. What a beautiful challenge this is for us all! To help us with this challenge to be “Merciful Like The Father,” we   encourage you to incorporate the Seven Corporal and Seven Spiritual works of mercy into your life every day.

Click here to learn more about the Beautiful Mercy Challenge and practical ways to observe the Corporal and Spiritual works of mercy each day.

Volunteers are always welcome, please join us!
