Parish-Wide Donation Drop Off Station

St. George Catholic School is a parochial school for children in grades prekindergarten 3 through eighth that seeks to foster a Christian atmosphere where students become self-directed learners and decision-makers applying religious principles, social skills, and intellectual expertise to their everyday lives. Each year Good Shepherd collects school supplies for St. George students before the start of classes. We’ll collect supplies at the Donation Station event this year.

Here are the supplies needed by the school:

  • 3-inch, 3 ring view binder
  • 3-ring pencil pouch w/zipper
  • Insertable plastic dividers w/double pockets, 8 tab
  • Mead composition book, 100 sheets
  • Mead primary composition book ruled, grades K-2, 100 sheets
  • Mead composition early learning primary journal, 100 sheets
  • Pocket folders with brads
  • Ruled index cards, 3 x 5
  • Post-it sticky notes, 3 pack, 3 x 3
  • Black pens; #2 pencils; Colored pencils; Washable markers; dry erase markers; highlighters
  • Pencil top erasers
  • Handheld pencil sharpener, covered
  • 12 x 18 white construction paper, 50 ct.; 9 x 12 colored construction paper, 50 ct.
  • Protractor & compass
  • Scissors, blunt tip
  • 12 oz hand sanitizer
  • Backpacks.

As always, we gratefully accept donations for our Outreach Partners at Catholic Charities; GRACE; Union Gospel Mission; St Johns Baby World and Outreach; Safe Haven; Mid Cities Care Corp; and Cassata Catholic High School.

Items needed by these partners include:

  • Canned and boxed food items and condiments
  • Diapers and baby wipes
  • Personal hygiene products for women and men
  • Men’s and women’s scrubs (sizes large & up and 2-4X, respectively)
  • Towels, wash cloths etc.
  • Gift cards (such as Walmart, Target, CVS, or Walgreens)
