Prayer for the Pandemic

Lord, great numbers of your children are suffering illness and death because of the coronavirus. We commend to you all who have died and pray for the healing of all who are sick. Lord, many of your sons and daughters are caring for the sick and working on cures and vaccines. Shower on them an abundance of the gifts of your Holy Spirit, especially the gifts of knowledge and wisdom, that their work may be successful and much suffering be alleviated. Thank you for your constant care. We ask this in your Holy Name, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.
