We have had a lot of maintenance going on this summer here on campus, and the progress continues to move forward. On Monday, July 14, 2025, the Shepherd Center Roofing Project will begin. This project will be addressing hail damage that we have received to the roof previously. This project is currently estimated to take two weeks to complete but could be extended into a third week depending on weather and construction issues. The Roofing Contractor’s crews will be working a six day work schedule running from Monday through Saturday during this period of time. The crews will start early in the morning at sunrise and will run through most of the day until around 6:00pm.
As a result of the roof construction activities, we will be closing the driveways and parking lots next to the Shepherd Center and the six exterior doors of the Shepherd Center during these construction periods to ensure safety in this construction area.
Please note, all entry to the Shepherd Center during roof construction activities will be unavailable for entry. All entry to the Shepherd Center must be through the Admin - South Entry Doors (front office) or the Parish Hall Center - West Entry Doors (hallway to classrooms).
Tinker Road is officially one way from Ponderosa to Caldwell Hughes Road. Traffic will only be able to travel eastbound within the work zone for the duration of the construction. If you approach our campus from Highway 26, prepare for an alternate route by viewing a map of the construction zone here. Stay tuned to our e-newsletter and follow us on Facebook and Instagram for further updates.
