Good Shepherd Music Ministry will present Joseph Martin’s Festival of Carols on Monday, December 21 at 7:00pm in the Church. The service will combine all adult, youth, and children choirs; plus handbells and orchestra. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, seating will be limited, and tickets will be available for purchase beginning Monday, December 7th. Tickets will be $10 each and the proceeds will fund the Youth Orchestra and Children’s Choir programs in the spring.  Tickets will be available for purchase through a pastoral musician after Mass the weekends of Dec. 12 & 13 and Dec. 19 & 20, or in the parish office during business hours.

Festival of Carols is a joyful celebration of the music of Christmas. Overflowing with tuneful praise, this cantata is based on the traditional “Lessons and Carols” format and will include thoughtful readings by Pamela Stewart. There are over 20 classic carols incorporated into the work along with new seasonal selections composed especially for Festival of Carols. Some of the carols include: O Come, All Ye Faithful; Come, Thou Long-Expected Jesus; Away in a Manger; Silent Night; O Little Town of Bethlehem; Sussex Carol; Angels, We Have Heard on High and many more.
