Welcome!
We are so excited you’re here! Our mission is to walk with students on their journey to becoming fully initiated in the Catholic Church! We prepare students for the Sacramental life of the Church by instructing them in the basic teachings, tenants, and principles of the faith and preparing them for the lifelong journey of discipleship through content that engages their mind, body, and spirit.
Who is this for?
- Any student who wants to become Catholic
- Any student between the ages of 7 and 17 who is unbaptized
- Any student who has not received First Communion before the age of 10
What Does OCIA look like?
OCIA is more than just a class. Throughout this transformative process the students not only acquire knowledge of the Catholic Church but become active disciples who live out their faith. This process takes time, which is why the Catholic Church asks for a commitment of two years to complete OCIA.
Below are the two different pathways available to our families. We recognize that due to different life circumstances, not every family can (or needs to) commit to two years of formation. The pathway your family takes will be discerned with the Coordinator.
WHAT DOES OCIA LOOK LIKE?
You may contact Madeleine Hill, Coordinator of OCIA Adapted with an inquiry, Registering for Faith Formation will automatically flag if your child needs OCIA as well.
Once Madeleine has been made aware of the need for sacraments, she will reach out with first steps!
