Honduras Awareness Weekend and World Mission Sunday
Saturday, October 23, 2021 - Sunday, October 24, 2021

We will celebrate World Mission Sunday on October 23 & 24.
In his message for this year’s World Missions, Pope Francis calls us to speak about what we have seen and heard. He says “In these days of pandemic, when there is a temptation to disguise and justify indifference and apathy in the name of healthy social distancing, there is urgent need for the mission of compassion, which can make that necessary distancing an opportunity for encounter, care and promotion. “What we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:20),

As we celebrate World Missions, every parish in the world can participate, united in this special Eucharistic celebration. Every parishioner is a missionary, sharing our love for Christ’s Gospel with one another, supporting the Church most in need. Pope Francis calls us to speak about what we have seen and heard. Here at Good Shepherd we will highlight our Honduras Mission Program, in reply to his call, we want to share an update for our Honduras Mission Program.

Please stop by one of our tables outside after Masses to say “hello” to our mission council members and to learn more about all the good work we do through our support to this program.

Please visit our website and learn more about this program, or contact Tere Martin Mission Ministries Coordinator at

We are so grateful of your ongoing support of our Honduras Mission Program.
